Manchester’s pugilistic pop band Well Done You are releasing a string of brand new singles through different labels and outlets.
“I Don’t Know Why” is a raucous post-punk anthem indebted to the great unsung heroes of British rock: Reuben, Yourcodenameis:Milo, ThisGIRL, you name it. Blistering, unhinged blitzkrieg pop with tongue firmly in cheek, it pinballs with the anarchic energy of summer anthems gone by.
Well Done You
Well Done You was born in 2015 from the restless mind of producer/writer Mike Lawetto: a taut combination of catchy Californian vocal hooks, indie punk rock attitude and the occasional recorder solo. Their currently untitled debut album is due later this year, following five singles on different labels.
